Colourful Signage Helps Build Attendance at Events

Case Study

A country club was having difficulty building attendance at their monthly events. In order to make their events profitable they needed to achieve a 75% attendance rate, yet they had only been averaging 55%, which only covered their event expenses. They were not sure how to best cross-sell these events to their club members.

While visiting the country club, we learned that they were only using simple black-and-white signs for announcing their upcoming events, so we helped them create full-color, laminated posters. The visual attractiveness of the new posters caught the attention of many club members and essentially drew larger crowds to the events. We also designed and printed table tent cards for the club dining room to help market the events even more. The posters and matching table tents were designed to reflect the theme of each upcoming event.

The first set of posters and table tents we created generated an 88% attendance rate, and subsequent posters we did for other events achieved 100% capacity. By the 4th event, the posters and table tents had generated so much interest that the country club had to expand their events to accommodate more members.
